Achilles Kameas is associate professor of educational content methodology & technology laboratory (e-CoMeT Lab) Hellenic Open University and the SONETOR project coordinator. Achilles D. Kameas received his engineering diploma (in 1989) and his Ph.D. (in 1995) from the Department of Computer Engineering and Informatics, Univ. of Patras, Greece. Since 2003, he is an assistant professor with the Hellenic Open University (HOU), where he teaches software engineering. Since 2007 he is director of the educational content, methodology and technology (e-CoMeT) lab with HOU, which currently employs more than 40 researchers with an average annual budget of more than 1MEuro. Since 2010, he is directing the Career and Employment Centre of HOU. He is also the Director of Research Unit 3 / DAISy (Dynamic Ambient Intelligent Systems) at the Computer Technology & Publications Institute "Diophantus" (CTI), attracting funding of more than 1,5MEuro during the past 10 years. He has participated as researcher / group leader in several EU and national R&D projects.
